The more I grow, the more I see my sinfulness, faults, weaknesses, failures, arrogance, self-reliance, immaturity, and plenty others. I am more convicted that I need not look outside of myself to understand human wickedness. I need Jesus not just to receive salvation and forgiveness of sins but also to live a Godly life. John 15. Titus 2:11-14.
It is perhaps common vernacular in church to touch on the differences between baby Christians and mature Christians often measuring things by how much knowledge, wisdom, ministries, or fellowship groups one has. But I think that perhaps the real measure of maturity is how much a believer loves.
